A. Overview Of The TaskMaster Utility. The TaskMaster utility is an automatic interactive tool for managing and scheduling Tasks and Task-Jobs. The tool creates independent tasks with dependent jobs that allow you to manage, control and run batch and interactive jobs. The tool can lunch jobs to run on a daily, weekly, monthly, overnight, holidays, lunch hours, night shift and other criteria. Using TaskMaster most needed and demanded options, functions and solutions you can work with a better job scheduler on your AS/400 system, improve system performance and efficiency without the need of any programming knowledge. The tool provides the accuracy of planning, automated executing monitors and a useful Menu-Bar-Generator utility that allow you to create a variety of user-friendly needed pop-up system menus. TaskMaster is an extremely functional and reliable tool, with an automatic consuming job scheduling process. B. Using The TaskMaster Utility. TaskMaster offers you a complete control over how, when and where a job is submitted to run. Batch processing is usually recommended during the day while other jobs can run at night. The tool provides an innovative and dynamic Job scheduler with a variety of functions, options and useful scheduling operations but the most essential monitor is used to avoid custom damagingly performance. A comprehensive monitor is automatically set to control the scheduled process. If a job is stuck in the job queue in "MSGW" status, it will bypass the job and free others to continue running and ending successfully. C. Options available from within the Task Master. Through TaskMaster, scheduled jobs can run every day, every hour, once a week, in the end of the week, periodically, on the same day, seven days a week, ending or starting day of the month, run many jobs at the same time or at a different time, more than once, per jobs dependency, ad hoc, routine jobs or backup jobs. Scheduled plans can be always controlled and changed as required. The TaskMaster tool can run on any time any day, holidays or illness days. The tool automates scheduling process and prevent abnormal ending through essential functions as; control activities, logs, history and forecast reports.
