A. Overview Of The MasterJobs Utility.
The MasterJobs is used for help desk support, control and monitoring jobs.
With the job interface you can display another workstation screen, send command
to another job, display LDA and QTEMP with copy options, interactive and batch jobs. 4 different monitors can be used to control and change automatically priority, time slice or displaying jobs in selected status like "MSGW" or "LCKW".
B. Using The MasterJobs Utility.
With a simple command you can immediately help or watch another workstation. Defining monitors defaults, takes only several minutes. A job scheduler entry is created and activates each of the 4 monitors. Starting and ending activities are subjected to your scheduled plan.
C. Options available from within the MasterJobs.
Display a jobs local data area.
Display another jobs QTEMP with 2 copy option: copy file and duplicate object
to your selected library.
Send command or call program are activated on the selected job.
All those options can be used on interactive or batch jobs.
Display or watch another workstation with a "look at me option" that is used to
help users to watch your workstation.
Unlike the IBM option: "Copy screen", here no message is sent and no phase is missing.

The automated job CPU % monitor helps you to control jobs.

The job CPU % monitor is usually activated when the system is facing a performance declining due to jobs that are using to much CPU.
By using job definition defaults the monitor will change job priority or return
to the original priority.
